Diane Miramon says,

"After retiring from the California State University System in 2002, I moved to Florida to be near my children and grandchild. I spent 2 years caring for my granddaughter and spending a lot of time with my children. I did a lot of traveling, remodeling my home and just having fun.

"In 2004 I decided to return to school and do something that would be a new and fun career. I never knew what I would find and was astonished at what I found. I found I have a gift, a very special gift. This gift has led me in a direction I never would have expected and I am so glad that I discovered it.

"I attended the Bhakti Academe of Intuitive Massage & Healing in Safety Harbor, FL. At Bhakti, I not only learned massage but I learned how to heal myself. They taught me that I could not help anyone until I was able to help myself. What a very special and spiritual place to find my special gift for helping others.

"At first I did not understand what clients were telling me when I placed my hands on them. So I asked them to describe it to me. The description went like this 'When you place your hands on my back they vibrate, and heat up'; 'I could feel a sense of calm when you placed your hands on me'; Some people have asked if I was going to burn them with my hands. One person asked to see the machine that I used in my massage; I showed him my hands."
